A little over a month ago, Broken Bells blessed an intimate audience at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre with their shimmery space disco sounds. Mellow lighting, Au Revoir Simone as the back-up singers on their encore performances, and an after-party benefiting an anti-asteroid defense initiative made the night very magical.
Especially since there were space-themed drinks and telescopes to check out these threatening, hurling space rocks.
The performance part was recorded for posterity–as long as we aren’t hit with an asteroid.
